Safety Designations and Certifications

National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO):

An entry-level designation that demonstrates a basic understanding of construction safety principles.

Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST):

Require formal education from accredited universities and years of experience in the field.

Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP):

Require formal education from accredited universities and years of experience in the field.
