National Safety Services Inc. is proud to highlight our collaboration with Dawson Wallace Construction Ltd., a leading construction management and general contracting firm with a strong reputation across Western Canada. Known for their commitment to excellence, integrity, and safety, Dawson Wallace continues to set the standard for progressive, people-focused construction practices.
As part of their ongoing efforts to strengthen workplace culture and enhance safety performance, Dawson Wallace partnered with National Safety to develop a series of customized training videos and programs designed to reflect both their operational needs and their values. Together, we created:
General Orientation Video – providing all new employees with a consistent, engaging introduction to Dawson Wallace’s safety expectations, company culture, and operational procedures.
Indigenous Reconciliation Training Video – supporting Dawson Wallace’s reconciliation commitments by fostering awareness, understanding, and respect for Indigenous peoples and communities.
Field Level Risk Assessment (FLRA) Training Video – ensuring that field staff are empowered to identify, assess, and control jobsite hazards in real time, reinforcing Dawson Wallace’s proactive approach to safety management.
These initiatives reflect Dawson Wallace’s belief that safety extends beyond compliance, it is a shared responsibility built on respect, awareness, and collaboration. Their leadership recognized that an inclusive approach to training is essential not only for protecting workers but also for strengthening relationships among employees, subcontractors, and community partners.
National Safety worked closely with Dawson Wallace’s internal teams to ensure the videos reflected the company’s voice, values, and work environments. Each resource was designed to be practical, accessible, and reflective of the people who make up Dawson Wallace’s diverse workforce.
The resulting training suite reinforces the company’s long-standing safety philosophy: everyone, every day, plays a role in building safely. By integrating reconciliation awareness, cultural respect, and risk-based decision-making into everyday training, Dawson Wallace continues to demonstrate that true safety leadership includes both technical expertise and social responsibility.
